The dormitories are maintained
to house the students as economically as possible,
while providing for them “a home away from
home.” Bluewater’s regulations concerning
how life is to be lived in the dormitories are
designed to positively mold the lives of the students
in their personal habits, and in their relationships
with other students. Each room is furnished with
beds, study tables, and a chest of drawers. Students
must bring their own bed linens, pillows, towels,
and wash cloths. Metered washing machines are
available in town. At present, there are no campus
accommodations for married students and their
spouses.
Dormitory and dining hall
facilities are available for only one week after
completion of the school year. After that week,
the cost per room is US$5.00 a day, and the cost
per meal is US$3.50.
